Zimbabwe, once home to the African kingdom of Great Zimbabwe, has incredible linguistic diversity and a rich oral history tradition. It is also very well known for Victoria Falls, which lies on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Two of Zimbabwe’s official languages, Kalanga and Nyamba, are languages in which The Word for the World is currently working to translate the Bible. The Chikunda project is the furthest along, with the New Testament completed and the Old Testament 64% finished.
