Dr. Veroni Krüger

Dr. Veroni Krüger, a South African by birth, completed a doctorate in Greek and Linguistics at the University of Pretoria and postgraduate studies in Missiology at the University of South Africa. He taught Greek at the University of Pretoria and pastored churches for nearly two decades before founding The Word for the World Bible Translators. As Founder-President, he pioneered a training program that equips local churches and leaders from Bibleless communities to translate Scripture for their own people. Until 2020, he led The Word for the World while also training translators, serving as a consultant, and developing programs to accelerate translation worldwide.
