In Kenya, 15 translators - representing 5 different languages that do not have a Bible yet - recently attended their first training for their Diploma in Bible Translation! All 5 of these translation projects are brand new, and the translators will be starting off on strong footing because of their training with The Word for the World.

As one translator said, “It is just an amazing experience for me to be part of this noble task to have the Bible translated into our heart language. We do believe that if we get the scripture translated and presented in our heart language there is going to be such a tremendous transformation. Many hearts are going to yield to the power of the cross, many churches will be planted, we will not have people who only claim to belong to a Christian religion, but Disciples of Christ, the doers of the word.”
