Empowering Bibleless People in Sudan
July 23, 2021

Your partnership helps us to empower Bibleless people to translate the Bible into their own language! From April 6 to May 6 of this year, 20 students from 11 different language groups (each one representing a Bible translation project) attended a The Word for the World training in Sudan. This time, the courses included Morphology and Syntax, Textual Criticism, & Literacy.

One of the students said, “The training was a great help to us, the translators, and especially to the new ones. It provides the necessary skills and gives sufficient knowledge that help us in dealing with the text in an efficient way.”

Please pray for the 13 students who are already involved in ongoing translation projects, as well as those who will begin their projects soon. Their next training is planned for September.
